I was around 11 when I got my first camera. It was Nikon F65 - pretty analogue camera which I still have. I never thought it will have such an impact on my life. At first I wasn't that much interested in photography. My first shoots were usual and you could recognise person on photo. For 11,12 year old it's okay. Nothings was right except that I sometimes captured some okay portrait. I didn't look at photography as I look today nor I had formal education in that field.
Few years later I was more interested in photography and one friend asked me for photo session. It helped me a lot as a practice. Soon there was another session followed by next and I made hundreds of photos. I started to look at world around me as motive for next photo. I can say - many 'usual' things around us can be great motives.
Soon I wished to study photography in high school but lost that opportunity. As a result of circumstances I studied ceramics design and explored beautiful world of clay. It was an adventure worth of studying but I never forgot photography. It always stayed my first love. I didn't leave photography as I started studying ceramics and soon I had two interesting fields of art involved in my life.
There was soon third field - street art. I had friends who were interested in street art and one who did graffiti for some time already. We had an idea to form small street art group and to create different work.
I made interesting pieces on paper and ceramics tiles which I glued on parts of outside walls. Unique, abstract and pretty crazy design. Unfortunately I don't have any picture of ceramics tiles art.
At that time I also became more interested in painting in tempera technique. I met one amateur painter who taught me how to express some nature details. It was interesting experience which helped me to improve my skills. During ceramics design education I used different art techniques. In my last year I chose to create mosaic for final exam.

Later I wished I could go into time machine and invest more time and energy into ceramics. It is worth but many times I didn't see it in that light through my education.
In meantime I got second camera-another Nikon but DSLR this time. I was happy because of it but I prefer effects of analogue cameras over digital ones. Both of them have cons and pros and I will write about that in another post.
I painted with tempera from time to time but didn't develop any specific style.
Later this year I became more interested in watercolors. It's beautiful and hard technique at the same time. I decided to invest more into that field. We will see where it will lead me.
When I turn back I see how much art entered my life. It changed my look to environment, people and art itself.
